Wench

Baron and bewildered
I wonder in disbelief
How many times you strayed
And furthered this grief

I won't let you take me
For this I know to be true
Because I'm stronger alone
Than when I was with you

Be warned, my darling,
For you got my very best
And though it fell short
It was better than the rest

So, go out and be happy
With the loose flings you so crave
But when your looks fade
Don't forget those you played

The ones who were true and loving
And would have given the world
For just a moment more
With such a beautiful girl

But your soul turned dark
And couldn't stay caged
Now you look for for love
But can't help feeling this way

It's desperation in your head
And envy in your heart
It's everything you created
When you ripped 'us' apart

So be warned, my dear,
The ones who come to you first
Are the same kind as you
Except they are much worse

They won't love you for a smile,
A laugh, or a hold
You're merely sterling silver
While they crave only gold

You'll be used and forgotten
Then thrown to the bench
This your chosen chronicle
'A Life of a Wicked Wench"
